Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Covenant Day moves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Durham Academy (Durham, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 1-7. Durham Academy lost 12-1 in their recent league match against Cary Academy (Cary, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pro Stock Royals Academy for a non-league match on Monday, March 31.
