The Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 11-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to E.E. Smith for a All American 3A/4A challenge on Friday, March 28. Pine Forest will clash with a Golden Bulls team coming off a 15-2 league loss to Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls record now stands at 0-8.

With the defeat, Lee County drops to 6-5 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Sandhills 3A/4A challenge on Friday, March 28. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Pinecrest lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC)
