The Rivera Raiders softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Porter Cowboys to 1 in the Raiders league win on Tuesday.

The Raiders now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Donna North for a 5A Region IV District 32 battle on Friday, March 6. Rivera will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 18-1 league loss to Mercedes (Mercedes, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Porter moves to 6-6 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Pace (Brownsville, TX) to confront the Vikings in a 5A Region IV District 32 challenge on Friday, March 6.
