The Porter Cowboys softball squad (Brownsville, TX), was routed 16-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets (Edcouch, TX)

With the triumph, Edcouch-Elsa improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Donna North (Donna, TX) to face the Chiefs in a 5A Region IV District 32 bout on Wednesday, March 18. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Donna North lost 23-1 in their recent league bout against Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX)
