The Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets (Edcouch, TX) softball routed the visiting Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), 12-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pace for a 5A Region IV District 32 outing on Friday, March 27. Edcouch-Elsa will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 5-4 league win over Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 21-0.

With the loss, Rivera moves to 9-12 on the season. The Raiders host Lopez (Brownsville, TX) to encounter the Lobos in a 5A Region IV District 32 test on Friday, March 27. The Lobos go into the test with a record of 11-6. Lopez won 11-0 in their recent league test against Donna North (Donna, TX)
