The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets (Edcouch, TX) and the host Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), saw Edcouch-Elsa's softball squad nip Rivera by a score of 6-4.

With the triumph, Edcouch-Elsa improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Valley View (Pharr, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, February 19. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-4. Valley View lost 14-12 in their recent non-league game against La Joya (La Joya, TX)
