The Caney Cougars baseball team scored 23 runs and held the host Milburn Eagles to 7 in the Cougars non-league win on Monday.

The Cougars now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frontier for a non-league test on Monday, April 6. Caney will play a Mustangs team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Morrison (Morrison, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-10.

With the defeat, Milburn drops to 3-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sasakwa (Sasakwa, OK) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 7. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 11-8. Sasakwa won 1-0 in their recent league test against Macomb (Macomb, OK)
