In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) baseball squad the host Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ), by a tally of 9-7.

Next up, the Hilltoppers encounter the Parsippany Redhawks (Parsippany, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 8. Summit will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Redhawks enter the bout with a 9-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Boonton (Boonton, NJ).

The Vikings (10-6) will now prepare for their bout against Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Scotch Plains-Fanwood edged Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ), 6-4, in a non-league bout.
