Iowa High School Softball - Midland succumbs to Calamus-Wheatland
June 19, 2025: Wyoming, IA 52362 In Thursday's league test, the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors (Wheatland, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA), by a tally of 9-1.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) in a non-league test, on Friday, June 20. Calamus-Wheatland will attempt to advance on its 13-9 season record.
The Eagles (2-15) will now prepare for their test against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars go into the non-league test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Starmont prevailed over Central (Elkader, IA), 14-2, in a non-league test.
