June 25, 2025: Edgewood, IA 52042 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) and the visiting Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA), observed Edgewood-Colesburg's softball team get by Midland by a tally of 9-5.
The Vikings (27-7) will now prepare for their bout against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars go into the Tri-Rivers - West bout with a 7-17 record. In their last bout, Starmont tipped Waukon (Waukon, IA), 17-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, June 27. Midland will attempt to advance on its 3-18 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 14-7 league loss to West Liberty (West Liberty, IA).
