The Newton Rams softball team (Covington, GA), was nipped 4-3 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA)

The Rams (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Dacula tipped Jackson County (Jefferson, GA), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
