The South Gwinnett Comets softball squad (Snellville, GA), was routed 16-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA)

The Rams (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Eastside (Covington, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 12-0 record. In their last bout, Eastside gained a win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA), 15-0, in a league bout.
