Georgia High School Softball - Heritage knocked off by Newton

In Tuesday's league test, the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Heritage Patriots (Conyers, GA), by a count of 11-1.

Next, the Rams meet the Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) in a 6A Region 4 outing, on Thursday, October 2. Newton will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 19-9 record after their 11-4 league loss to Archer (Lawrenceville, GA).

With the loss, Heritage moves to 6-15 on the season. The Patriots travel to Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to meet the Black Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. The Black Knights go into the test with a record of 1-24.
