Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Union Rockets (Modoc, IN), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Monroe Central improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Golden Bears host Northeastern (Fountain City, IN) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.

Next, the Rockets play the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN).
