The Walled Lake Central Vikings felled the visiting Kettering Captains football team by a score of 46-29 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) in a Lakes Valley test, on Friday, September 5. Walled Lake Central will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 24-17 non-league loss to Glenn (Bay City, MI).
