Michigan High School Football - Walled Lake Central falls to Lakeland

September 19, 2025: Walled Lake, MI 48390

The Lakeland Eagles felled the host Walled Lake Central Vikings football team by a score of 32-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Friday, September 26. Lakeland will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Captains go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 51-14 league loss to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI).

With the defeat, Walled Lake Central drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Mott (Waterford, MI) to meet the Corsairs in a Lakes Valley test on Friday, September 26. The Corsairs come into the test with a record of 3-1. Mott lost 53-19 in their recent non-league test against Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI)
