In Friday's league match, the host Walled Lake Northern Knights football squad scored a good 41-28 win over the Walled Lake Central Vikings.

With the win, Walled Lake Northern improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Knights host Milford (Highland, MI) to play the Mavericks in a Lakes Valley battle on Friday, October 10. The Mavericks go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Milford lost 30-27 in their recent league battle against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI)

The Vikings now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Lyon for a Lakes Valley battle on Friday, October 10. Walled Lake Central will play a Lions team coming off a 24-21 league win over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.
