The South Lyon East Cougars football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights to 7 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Milford for a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, October 3. South Lyon East will face a Mavericks team coming off a 24-7 non-league win over Trenton (Trenton, MI). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-3.
