The South Lyon Lions football squad scored 45 points and limited the host South Lyon East Cougars to 7 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dexter for a non-league outing on Friday, November 7. South Lyon will clash with a Dreadnaughts squad coming off a 42-7 non-league win over Franklin (Livonia, MI). The Dreadnaughts record now stands at 9-1.

With the defeat, South Lyon East drops to 4-6 on the campaign.
