Missouri High School Softball - Holden bounces Pleasant Hill
August 31, 2023: Holden, MO 64040 Holden Eagles (Holden, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 4. Holden will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Pleasant Hill falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Roosters/chicks host Clinton (Clinton, MO) to battle the Cardinals in a Class 3 District 14 challenge on Tuesday, September 5. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
