North Carolina High School Volleyball - Highlands can't hold off Swain County

In Tuesday's non-league match, the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Maroon Devils battle the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A match, on Thursday, September 18. Swain County will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC).
