The Swain County Maroon Devils edged the host Highlands Highlanders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Maroon Devils confront the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, September 9. Swain County will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).
