September 19, 2023: Whitehouse, OH 43571 In Tuesday's league contest, the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Generals face the Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Thursday, September 21. Anthony Wayne will attempt to better on its 12-1 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH).

Leading for Northview was senior Natalie Kerchevall with a double-double and a team high performance with 16 kills, 18 digs, and 5 aces. Also leading for the Cats was senior middle blocker, Claire Smith, with 7 kills, hitting .417; and sophomore outside hitter, Tali Twigg, with 8 kills. Senior setter, Hannah Schoen added a double-double with 30 assists and 13 digs. Aiding in the defensive effort was Jordyn Pakulski with 16 digs and Hannah Davis with 11.
Northview returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Ottawa-Glandorf for a non-conference match-up with the Titans. Both freshman and JV will start at 10:00 A.M., Varsity to follow.
