North Carolina High School Volleyball - Newton-Conover ripped by West Iredell
September 2, 2025: Statesville, NC 28625 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) and the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), observed West Iredell's volleyball team top Newton-Conover by a tally of 3-0.
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Statesville beat Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Red Devils meet the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Newton-Conover will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
