North Carolina High School Volleyball - Maiden over Newton-Conover

The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) and the host Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), saw Maiden's volleyball squad achieve victory over Newton-Conover by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Maiden improves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-7. Lincoln Charter lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC)

Next, the Red Devils meet the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Newton-Conover will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).
