South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Anchorage improves its record to 21-3 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Seward (Seward, AK) to encounter the Seahawks in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Seahawks go into the test with a record of 3-9. Seward won 3-1 in their recent league test against Homer (Homer, AK)

The Thunderbirds now have a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eagle River for a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will meet a Wolves team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 26-9.
