Missouri High School Softball - Pleasant Hill bounces Clinton
September 5, 2023: Pleasant Hill, MO 64080 Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Clinton Cardinals (Clinton, MO), 6-2 in a league challenge.
The Roosters/Chicks now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Grove for a Class 3 District 14 challenge on Thursday, September 7. Pleasant Hill will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Clinton falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Odessa (Odessa, MO) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class 3 District 14 challenge on Thursday, September 7. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Odessa won 16-5 in their recent league challenge against Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO)
