In Tuesday's league test, the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA), by a count of 11-3.

Next, the Tigers meet the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 11. Metter will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 14-2 record after their 7-2 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).

The Redskins (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Gamecocks come into the 1A D-II Region 3 outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Screven County achieved victory over Jenkins County (Millen, GA), 11-5, in a league outing.
