Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Portal Panthers (Portal, GA), 8-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Metter improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bryan County (Pembroke, GA) to play the Redskins in a 1A D-II Region 3 match on Tuesday, September 9. The Redskins come into the match with a record of 8-7. Bryan County lost 6-1 in their recent league match against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)
