The Independence Eagles football team (Thompson's Station, TN), was tipped 16-14 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Brentwood Bruins (Brentwood, TN)

With the win, Brentwood advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Bruins travel to Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN) to encounter the Raptors in a 6A Region 6 bout on Thursday, October 30. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Ravenwood won 42-7 in their recent league bout against Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN)

The Eagles now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Summit for a 6A Region 6 bout on Thursday, October 30. Independence will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 8-6 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 2-7.
