Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) and the visiting West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), saw North Wilkes's basketball squad overcome West Wilkes by a tally of 54-43.

With the victory, North Wilkes improves its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC) to confront the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 23-4. T.W. Andrews won 60-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelby (Shelby, NC)
