The West Wilkes Blackhawks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Wilkes Central Eagles to 42 in the Blackhawks league victory on Friday.

The Blackhawks now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Surry for a 2A Foothills contest on Tuesday, February 13. West Wilkes will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 48-44 league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-6.

The Eagles (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons come into the 2A Foothills contest with a 16-6 record.
