In Thursday's league test, the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) basketball squad got by the visiting North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), by a score of 35-29.

Next, the Scorpions encounter the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Desert West test, on Tuesday, January 28. Desert Edge will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record.
