The Myers Park Mustangs basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Palisades Pumas to 25 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host A.C. Reynolds for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Myers Park will meet a Rockets team coming off a 75-19 league win over Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 15-6.

The Pumas (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal enter the 4A Conference 49 contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Berry triumphed over Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 51-35, in a league contest.
