Nebraska High School Basketball - Meridian falls to High Plains

January 31, 2023: Daykin, NE 68338

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting High Plains Storm basketball team scored a good 49-41 triumph over the Meridian Mustangs.

In their next game, the Storm meet the East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. High Plains will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 8-9 record after their 69-48 non-league loss to McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE).

With the defeat, Meridian moves to 3-13 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Osceola (Osceola, NE) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 17-2. Osceola won 67-53 in their recent non-league match against Fullerton (Fullerton, NE)
