In Saturday's league match, the visiting Hershey Panthers basketball team scored a tight 48-47 triumph over the Chase County Longhorns.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 30. Hershey will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Stars enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 40-23 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, NE).

With the defeat, Chase County moves to 8-8 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Southern Valley (Oxford, NE) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 30.
