Match Summary
In a much quieter than usual gym we were able to muster up enough offense and defense to get past Monument tonight in three sets with scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-21. This is kind of the quiet before the storm as we are expecting and hoping for a real dog fight on the court tomorrow at home vs division 3 3rd seeded Amherst!
In tonight's match we did some really good things and put out some really exciting plays. Jadyn had 2 beautiful hits between blockers, Natalia Dos Santos saw, reacted to and chased down a ball from one end of the court to the other and brought it back into play that you'd never expect anyone to be able to get, Lacey Daly had 5 aces in a row and Nevaeh Williams ended the night on an incredibly powerful hit! We ended the night with 23 aces which I believe is our season best.
Our usual offensive leader Janayah Jones didn't play much tonight due to a sore shoulder, but should be ready to go for tomorrows match.
