North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Day overwhelmed by Charlotte Latin

January 13, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28277

The Charlotte Latin Hawks basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Covenant Day Lions to 46 in the Hawks league victory on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Country Day School for a NCISAA Charlotte Independent contest on Wednesday, January 18. Charlotte Latin will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 76-72 league loss to Cannon (Concord, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 15-8.

The Lions (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Butler triumphed over Independence (Charlotte, NC), 57-43, in a league contest.
