Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) and the visiting Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN), saw Centennial's basketball squad overcome Spring Lake Park by a tally of 62-44.

With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Anoka (Anoka, MN) to confront the Tornadoes in a AAAA Section 7 challenge on Wednesday, February 15. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Anoka won 59-33 in their recent league challenge against Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Spring Lake Park will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record.
