In Tuesday's league outing, the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX), by a count of 72-38.

The Eagles (18-6) will now prepare for their outing against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 5 outing with a 16-6 record. In their last outing, Guyer smashed Braswell (Little Elm, TX), 45-40, in a league outing.

The Lions now hold a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Boyd for a 6A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, January 6. McKinney will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 73-60 league win over Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 14-5.
