Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the host Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), saw Blue Ridge's basketball squad overcome Hargrave Military Academy by a tally of 74-58.

With the victory, Blue Ridge improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, VA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 19-11. Oak Hill Academy won 84-54 in their recent league challenge against Huntington Prep (Huntington, WV)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 49-44 league win over Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).
