April 9, 2024: Glen Daniel, WV 25844 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) and the host Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), witnessed Nicholas County's softball squad tip Liberty by a count of 7-3.
The Grizzlies now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Woodrow Wilson for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 10. Nicholas County will face a Flying Eagles squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Flying Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Liberty moves to 7-4 on the season. The Raiders host Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, April 12. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 1-3.
