January 30, 2024: Rochester, MN 55906 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) and the visiting LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals (LeRoy, MN), saw Schaeffer Academy's basketball squad wallop LeRoy-Ostrander by a tally of 71-35.
With the victory, Schaeffer Academy improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Lions host Glenville-Emmons (Glenville, MN) to confront the Wolverines in a A Section 1 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Glenville-Emmons lost 85-43 in their recent league challenge against Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 1. LeRoy-Ostrander will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 15-1 record after their 51-42 league win over Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN).
