The Central Tigers held off the host North Little Rock Charging Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Episcopal for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Jessieville (Jessieville, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

The Charging Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Conway (Conway, AR). The Wampus Cats enter the 6A Central test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Conway held off Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR), 3-0, in a league test.
