The Poets come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Dunbar won 45-41 in their recent league challenge against Carver Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Banneker will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 51-44 league win over McLean (Potomac, MD).
