The McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC) basketball knocked off the host Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC), 59-41 in Monday's league test.
The Trainers (17-4) will now prepare for their test against SEED DC (Washington, DC). The go into the non-league test with a 18-2 record. In their last test, SEED DC notched a victory over KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC), 70-49, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to DC International for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Banneker will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 62-46 non-league loss to Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD). The Dragons record now stands at 9-9.
