Eastern Ramblers (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC), 58-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Eastern upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Ramblers host Ballou (Washington, DC) to play the Knights in a DCSAA A bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Ballou lost 77-72 in their recent league bout against Dunbar (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Indians play the Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A bout, on Thursday, January 12. Anacostia will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 80-66 league win over Flowers (Springdale, MD).
