The JV Opponent volleyball squad (, ), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Pensacola Area Homeschool Phoenix (Pensacola, FL)

The now own a 109-259 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookwood for a battle on Tuesday, October 15. JV Opponent will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to JV Opponent (, ). The Falcons record now stands at 5-6.
Match Summary
Tonight, in the season finale for both teams, we picked up our first ever victories at the FLCA gym! With some of our Set 1 starters running late, Addie and Maddie jumped right in at late notice, and along with some of our younger players subbing off the bench, we trounced the JV Falcons 25-10 in the first set. We dropped the second set in a close one, with the late arrivals in the lineup not being warmed up yet. Then in the third, Samantha started us off with a 9 point serving run to position us for a solid match win! In this match, our girls came in prepared to serve from a short approach in this smaller gym and had a magnificent serving outing! I'm proud to note, as a team, our JV girls served 90% and scored 16 Aces tonight, led by Sophie, Miley and Samantha! And in a fitting close to their season, it was a true team effort tonight, with every JV player spending time on the court this match and contributing to our victory!
