The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons softball team scored 25 runs and limited the host Southwest Patriots to 0 in the Gryphons league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Academy for Classical Education moves its record to 25-2 on the year. The Gryphons travel to Glascock County (Gibson, GA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, October 13. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 15-4.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA) in a 2A Region 2 game, on Wednesday, October 5. Southwest will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record.
