Washington, DC High School Basketball - Anacostia holds off Ballou

December 12, 2022: Washington, DC 20020

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) and the visiting Ballou Knights (Washington, DC), saw Anacostia's basketball squad hold off Ballou by a tally of 70-68.

With the victory, Anacostia improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Banneker (Washington, DC) to confront the Bulldogs in a DCSAA A challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Banneker lost 78-48 in their recent league challenge against Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Knights confront the Bard Falcons (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Ballou will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
